Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started with therapy? I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to those that are interested in getting started with services. During this call, I can learn a little more about what you want to work on and see if we can move forward. To set up a call, please fill out the "contact" form on my website.
Do you accept insurance? I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, Medicare plans, Priority Health plans, and Blue Care Network Plans.
How often should I attend therapy? Many people attend therapy once a week and then tailor their frequency to their needs.
What is a Good Faith Estimate? Under the No Surprises Act (as of January 1, 2022), all healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. The Good Faith Estimate shows the cost of items and services that are reasonably expected for your healthcare needs and treatment. This will be provided by NRCW upon scheduling and/or as requested. This Good Faith Estimate does not include unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. To learn more about Good Faith Estimates, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
